Education & Mentorship

Our Education & Mentorship programs give newcomer and at-risk youth the tools they need to succeed in school, life, and future careers.

Overview

Our Education & Mentorship programs give newcomer and at-risk youth the tools they need to succeed in school, life, and future careers. Many young people in Ottawa face barriers such as language gaps, limited resources, or poverty that hold them back. We provide a safe, structured environment where youth receive tutoring, mentoring, and life skills while also gaining leadership opportunities.

After-School Programs

Daily homework clubs and tutoring in math, science, English, creative arts, and digital literacy. Youth build confidence and develop good study habits in a safe space.

Summer Camps

Blending learning with fun. Camps combine STEM, sports, arts, and leadership training so youth stay active, engaged, and connected during summer.

Life Skills Training

Practical workshops on teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, digital safety, and financial literacy. These sessions help youth make informed choices and build independence.

Employment & Leadership Training

Resume writing, interview practice, workplace skills, and mentorship with local professionals to prepare youth for meaningful jobs and leadership roles.

Objectives

Impact

Youth gain academic support, career readiness, and leadership skills that empower them to succeed in school and beyond. Parents see positive changes at home, and communities benefit from stronger, more engaged young leaders.
